SIR-CASE
2013
Production Manager
After finishing my degree at The Art Institute I took a job at a startup called SIR-CASE. Initially I was hired on to help build their cases, but my role quickly grew into photographer, circuit designer, parts ordering, and of course, helping design & assemble cases. Eventually we also hired an intern. My responsibilities grew into teaching him about the basics of wiring and soldering components in the cases.
I really enjoy start ups due to the high energy and potential that everyone feels when making a truly interesting product. This was a great experience, and I learned a ton about marketing, electronics, woodworking, and small businesses in general.
