School of Rock
2013 - 2014
Assistant Manager & Studio Coordinator
In 2013 I took a job as the Studio Coordinator at the School of Rock Elmhurst. My primary responsibilities included managing the teaching and student schedule of 120+ students and 10+ teachers and rooms. I led tours to possible future students and parents, organized payment methods, and substitute taught guitar and piano lessons.
After a few months I became more involved and took the role of Assistant Manager. I developed and taught an audio production course, with focuses on studio recording techniques, sound design, and Pro Tools. I also taught a course of Rock 101, with eight 7-10 year old students playing 3 basic rock songs. Eventually I picked up the role of graphic designer, designing show posters, social media content, school flyers, and more.
